Tuesday, Feb 20

Beautiful warm day. Didn't run the 3.3 as scheduled (problems with one of the foster boys), so I slipped the run to Wednesday. Did hit the weights hard, and benched 235. The strength is coming back slowly but surely. I won't be back to my old benchmarks by race day, but I don't need to be.

I need to reduce my weight a bit and pound my abs. Had a great ab workout (over 400 reps), and will do abs 5-6 days per week until race day. In terms of weight loss, I just need to more carefully monitor my intake, especially after runs, and I need to eat several small meals per day. I get too busy and miss a meal, then woof down too much food later in the day and it turns to fat during my sleep!
